Hi! I am a Florida native. I have lived in both North Florida and South Florida. Currently I am living in Jacksonville with my daughter and our dog, Raven. I love the outdoors, adventures and food! I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. I was a member of the yearbook staff in high school and went on to get a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communications from the University of Miami.
On the personal side of photography, creating images of nature and wildlife is my favorite. Being out in nature provides a sense of peace and calm. Macro photography is my second favorite type of photography. I love being able to show all the intricate details of the items I photograph.
I am a member of the Jacksonville Professional Photographers Guild and Professional Photographers of America. I have been the featured artist in a local art festival and have had interviews and photographs published in multiple magazines.
FUN FACTS:
I have been a professional photographer for the past 4 years. I have done commercial photography, portraits, cars and events over the years. However, it was being a Commercial Photographer that lead me to Personal Branding. As I would photograph small businesses each day, I would look at all of the ways that I could showcase them and their brand. The more I did it, the more I began to love it. It became my purpose. There was nothing I enjoyed more than being able to help small businesses present themselves to the community and their ideal clients. I took my experiences with commercial photography and portrait photography and decided to create the business of my dreams in Personal Branding Photography. Now I work closely with the professionals in my community to create beautiful, professional, unique images tailored to them and their business to help them elevate their brand and attract their ideal clients. The collection of images we create together can be used right away as well as for future needs.
I have always loved how photographs can evoke an emotion, help us see things in a way we might not have seen them before, and how they tell a story and foster connection. Whether its is through a facial expression or a moment in time or the elements in the image, photographs take us on a journey. They transport us back to a moment in time, they make us feel certain emotions and they connect us. Since I began on my own photography journey, I have always wanted to foster that connection between my image and its viewer. To evoke that emotional response. I also want to show people the world in a way they might not see it otherwise, through my unique angles, perspectives and creative eye. These are the things I strive for when I am behind the lens. Lastly, I just want my viewers to enjoy my images as much as I enjoy creating them!
